A Special Mother's Day

My mom is nice and beautiful.  However, when she is angry, she looks like a tiger.  Last year, I gave her a special Mother’s Day.  Let me tell you how special it was.

On that day, I woke up in the early morning.  Then, I asked my dad to take Mom to go shopping.  After they went out, my little brother and I started to make cake and cookies.  It was my first time to make cake and cookies, so I failed a lot of times, but I didn’t give up.  Finally, we baked a pretty cake and delicious cookies.  Before they came home, my brother and I hid the cake and the cookies.  We also wrote cards to my mom.

After we ate dinner, we took out the cake, cookies and cards.  We gave them to my mom.  She was very surprised and happy.  And we said, “We will love you forever.” to her very loudly.  She said that was the most special Mother’s Day.

I love my mom.  I will be a good child and always help her do the housework.  I won’t let her be too tired.  I think I will plan to have another great Mother’s Day this year because my brother and I love some new ideas.
