“Mom” was the first word I said. She is the closest person to me in my family. I tell her anything that happens to me; no matter happy, sad, angry and funny. She always listens quietly as I talk loudly and excitiedly.

When I have questions, she tells me, “Don’t be nervous! Just think a bit, then you will get your own answer.” If I run into something that is not good for me, she often tells me, “Crying is not a good way. You have to be happy! Don’t give up! Then you’ll learn to be brave and not to be scared.” If I fight with my friends, she always wants me to be calm. She will make me happy by telling me some funny things. When something happens to me, she always stays with me. I think she is my idol and hero.

In my heart, she is more beautiful than Jhin-Lin Lin. She is the prettiest person in the world. In my heart, she is much smarter than a dictionary. She tells me every answer that I ask. In my heart, she is the kindest in my family. She always teaches me we have to do our bestto help people. In my heart, she is the best and the most wonderful mother. I do not need any reasons to prove that. She is my mother; that’s enough.

Mother’s day is coming. It is one of the most important holidays. I want to tell my mom, “Thank you for taking care of me. I know I am not a good child, but you still love me. I feel happy and lucky because I can be your daughter. Thank you for everything! If I were your teacher, I would give you a super good grade- 100%!”
