| The learning goals of this three-year course are to teach students 3000 words of vocabulary, extend their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and that students will have the ability to challenge GEPT Basic level after Grade Two. Students should learn to spell words as they hear them and recognize words as they see them. |

It covers advanced listening and reading comprehension, advanced grammar, thematic conversation and English story reading. Students improve their reading and writing skills using magazine and newspaper articles as material. They practice making speeches in English. |
