| Step Ahead is written for elementary school students from Grades Three to Six. Each of the 16 levels is 12 weeks long and contains 24 two-hour lessons. The total program is four years long. The first level is designed for students without previous English learning. Children with prior English learning can begin at higher levels. Native Speaking and Chinese teachers each teach one lesson per week. The Chinese teacher is in class to assist when the native English speaker is teaching. |

| Small classes give teachers plenty of time for individual attention. Our students have fun in class but not at the expense of their results. Homework is given every lesson and students' test, homework, quiz and other results are recorded and parents are regularly informed of their children's progress. We give our students the means to excel in the elementary level GEPT. Step Ahead students will know 4000 useful words, think in English, know phrases and common idioms and be able to write essays. |
