| HESS Educational Foundation was founded in loving memory of the mother of our President, Joe Chu. Despite growing up in poverty and receiving only a Grade Three public school education, Mrs. Chu was determined to provide better educational opportunities for her family and for Taiwan. The foundation provides otherwise inaccessible educational opportunities to underprivileged and aboriginal children through a variety of charitable programs. |
