| The Bei SanMin and NanKing Rd branches are located in the North Eastern region of Taipei City. We are two sister branches situated only four bus stops apart making it convenient for Native Speaking Teachers (NSTs) to teach between the two branches. We have a total of eight NSTs in our team coming from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA. A few of our NSTs study Chinese either in a fulltime course or on a part time basis, some of our NSTs have their family here and others have their own pursuits to follow. We are all here to work, but there is also more to life than just working. Taipei is a fast paced city, but you soon become accustomed to the lifestyle here and you will find it amazing and rewarding living and working in Taipei City. |

| Bei San Min |
| Welcome to the Bei SanMin Branch. We are situated near the corner of SanMin Rd and NanKing East Rd not far from the MingSheng Community in Taipei City. Getting to our branch is quite easy either by bus or MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) depending where you may decide to live in Taipei. Bei SanMin comprises of both a Kindergarten and Hess Language School (HLS). |
| Kindergarten |
| At present we have one full-time NST and three part-time NSTs. There are also five Home Room Teachers (HRTs) and two Teaching Assistants (TAs) permanently at the branch. Our part-time NSTs also teach at HLS at either both our SanMin HLS and our sister branch, the NanKing HLS or one of the other HLS branches located within Taipei City including the MinChuan, SongChiang, Hsin-Yi and SongShan branches which are all easily accessible by bus. |
| Language School |
| There are Tree House, Kids Club, Step Ahead and PG classes. At present we have five NSTs, four full time CTs and four part time CTs. The Bei SanMin branch is an old branch but in a new location. We were previously the MingSheng branch. We moved to our current location in 2002. |

| NanKing Kindergarten is a small kindergarten with only three classes. There is one full-time NST and one part time NST. Both NSTs also teach HLS classes at either the NanKing HLS or one of the other HLS branches located within Taipei City including the MinChuan, SongChiang, Hsin-Yi and SongShan branches which are all easily accessible by bus. |

| NanKing HLS is also a small school with six language school classrooms and two Tree House/AnChin Ban classrooms. There are Tree House, Kids Club, Step Ahead and PG classes. At present we have four NSTs who teach between the NanKing HLS and our sister branch, the SanMin HLS. We also have two fulltime CTs and four part time CTs. |

| Living |
| SanMin and NanKing NSTs live in all different areas of Taipei City and County. We have one NST who lives within the MingSheng Community and has an eight-minute walk to the branch while we have one NST who lives in Taipei County and commutes by both bus and MRT. The other NSTs are scattered around Taipei City and commute by either bus or motor scooter. As we are so convenient to other Taipei City branches finding a roommate isn’t usually difficult. The cost of housing can vary depending on what style of housing you choose. Our Taipei County NST pays NT$11,000 for a comfortable 2 bedroom apartment living by himself while one of our Taipei City NSTs shares a three bedroom apartment and pays NT$10,000 for his share of the rent. Some NSTs pay more than this figure, but most pay less. Still, it is quite affordable living in Taipei, working as an NST. |

Shopping near the Bei SanMin and NanKing branches is most convenient. SanMin Branch is only a 10 minute walk from the Living Mall, a 10-floor shopping mall with specialty stores, a food court, movie theaters and a nightlife floor while the NanKing Branch is only a 10 minute walk from the Breeze Center as similar style complex. We also have a MacDonalds, KFC, Starbucks, Watsons, Subway Sandwich and 7/11 stores all close by both branches. The Shannon, a popular Taipei City pub is just around the corner from NanKing HLS Branch. As we are in Taipei City it is also easy to get to two MRT stations, Taipei City Hall (Bei SanMin) and NanKing East Rd Station (NanKing) as well as to Warner Village, Taipei 101 and California Fitness Center. The MRT system is a very fast and convenient way to get around Taipei and buses weave their way throughout the city making very easy to get from one side of the city to the other. |
