Situated 1.6km south of Taipei City, on the border of Chung Ho and Yung Ho (Shuang Ho), Chung Shan Branch is perfectly located. The school is only a 20 minute walk from the Tingshi MRT station (Rapid Transport System, or ‘underground’) in Yung Ho, which makes traveling easy, and there is a bus stop a few doors down from the school. Our teachers all live in Yung Ho, a city that covers approximately 5.71km² and has a population of 231, 816 people. It is known for being a market center for tea, rice, glass products and small machine manufacturing.

Chung Shan Kindergarten has been open for 5 years. During this time we've been fortunate to have excellent teachers from all over the world: Canada, United States, New Zealand, South Africa and England. All of our teachers have stayed for at least a year, and without exception, they've all had fantastic and interesting experiences, and taken home tons of memories.

The brilliance of Yung Ho is that you have all the conveniences of the city, but the housing is much cheaper. Most of us inherited furniture from past teachers, either for free or for a nominal price. There is a second hand furniture market under the Chung Cheng Bridge, which is quite reasonable, and furniture from stores like Carrefour, Hola, RT Mart or even Ikea is not too pricey. It’s also easy to sell furniture at the end of your stay.
